There was nothing left for her there anymore.  Everyone she cared about was gone.  She ran through the forest, tears spilling from her eyes.  They were closed, preventing her from seeing anything until she hit something.

"Ufh!"

Or someone.  Sakura's eyes widened, seeing someone she thought to never see again.  "S-Sasuke-kun...?"  His obsedent eyes bore into her's hardening as he saw tears spilling from them.  "Sakura what's wrong?  Where is everyone?  You didn't come out here on your own did you?"

Sakura blinked, studdenly latching onto him for some sort of comfort.  The tears spilled faster and harder then before.  Sakura raised her emerald eyes, looking up at him."T-they're all....gone....dead..."  She sniffed, hugging him again.  Sasuke brushed back her bubblegum hair, looking into her eyes.

He then held her closer and pulled her down into a sitting position against the nearest tree.  Then, tucking her head into his chest murmured, "It's okay sakura.  It's not all over...."  Sasuke smiled, kissing her forehead, wrapping his arms tighter around her.  "I'll be here Sakura."

He smiled another genuine smile at her, for once reaching his cold and bitter eyes.  The smile dissipeard as soon as it came.  He drew his silver sword from it's sheath, glaring into the shadows.  The movement stumbled around until finally falling out.  "Naruto!"  Sakura gasped, staring up at him.  "Your alive!"

"And very well I might add thank you for asking."  Naruto smirked.  "Gosh teme..."  He then grinned, coughing lightly up at Sasuke, "give a guy a break 'ttebayo"  naruto grinned again, walking over to where they were sitting.  "I guess....team 7's back together then...."  Sasuke sighed, wrapping his arm around Sakura's waist as naruto's arm wrapped around the kunoichi's shoulders.  Sakura sighed, smiling in agreement.  "Yeah....it's better this way."
